Our Story

First of all, thanks for stopping by!

And for those of you who are new to our blog - Welcome!

The beginnings of this blog are steeped with a lust for adventure, and a fierce determination to be the VERY FIRST American students to fight for, establish, and complete a year long-International Externship Program in Australia. Our accomplishment was groundbreaking, and has only just begun to pave the way for a radiological relationship between America, and our Alphabetical neighbors down in the Southern Hemisphere.

We began University at The Oregon Institute of Technology in 2008, to the disappointment of no International Study Abroad Options. Refusing to accept a defeat to our wanderlust, we begin to fight for an overseas externship. For 3 years we battled through politics, setbacks, and the pessimism of many, and wouldn’t you know? We built our own externship program from scratch!

In June, 2012, we will have completed both our externship year abroad, in Adelaide Australia, and graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Science from OIT. This blog has served as our account of the whole adventure process, and the many more adventures afterwards!
